family night

Since Wednesday night seems to be one of the few nights Jake has off during the week, we unofficially dubbed this night family night. This particular night began as an innocent Bean-family-night-out-for-ice-cream. What family night is complete without ice cream? It quickly turned hilarious.

Unfortunately we didn't bring the camera for the next part of our journey... to the fountain. It was a nice night, not hot by any means. Addie loves the water and wanted to put her feet in. No big deal. Then she got in up to her thighs. Jake and I were just chuckling because really, who lets their kid play in the fountain? You can probably guess that next she fell down and was soaked from neck to feet. All I could do was laugh! It was quite a finish to our night. Family night is definitely more fun than staying home and watching tv... maybe we'll do it every week.
